We are excited to announce that New Hope Family Services is hosting a free, in-person viewing of the Hope for the Journey Conference (formerly known as the Empower to Connect Conference) this spring! This conference provides information and practical tools for parenting and working with children who have been impacted by adoption and/or foster care. The conference will focus on Trust-Based Relational Intervention (TBRI) as a helpful way to engage with and parent children in a safe, loving way. New Hope Family Services has purchased access to this event and are happy to offer it to the community free of charge.

When: Saturday, May 21, 2022, from 9 AM-5 PM. Doors open at 8:30 AM.
Who: Anyone can attend! This conference can be especially helpful to parents, teachers, counselors, and social workers who work with children or teenagers that have been impacted by foster care and/or adoption.

There will be a break for lunch, but food will not be provided.
Childcare will not be provided.
Certificates of training will be provided to adoptive and foster parents for those interested. Professional CEUs will not be provided for this event.
