For Men & Partners

She's Pregnant...

When it comes to pregnancy decisions, the choice is ultimately up to her – but you can have a big influence on her decision. We’re here to help you explore your options too.

Before you begin to worry about what decision she is going to make, does she know if she is really pregnant?

Home tests are not always accurate and an ultrasound exam is the most reliable way to confirm or negate a potential pregnancy.

Before you call a clinic, make an appointment for her to confirm her pregnancy and explore her options - free of charge to you.

What You Can Do

Offer support by letting her know you are there for her no matter what. She needs to feel heard and respected. If you think you want to be a parent, regardless of your relationship status, now is the time to speak up. She needs to know how you feel.

If she is considering an abortion, we invite you both to make an appointment to confirm the pregnancy and receive accurate medical and legal information on the abortion pill and procedures. If you are considering adoption or parenting, we can provide information on our parenting programs and prenatal support for her and adoption information for you both.

Services for men include but are not limited to:

  • pregnancy options information

  • parenting programs

  • adoption counseling

  • support for new dads

An unplanned pregnancy can be a difficult time, but New Hope is here for you both every step of the way. You can come in with or without a partner.
